Global Offshore Wind 2022
On the 21st - 22nd of June 2022, SafeLane Global will be attending the Global Offshore Wind event at the Manchester Central Convention Complex. Visit us at Stand 200 to learn how our explosive threat mitigation services can benefit your offshore wind project.
SafeLane Global attended Global Offshore Wind in September of 2021. It was a breath of fresh air (pun intended) to attend an exhibition after a year and a half of COVID-19 restrictions.
Global Offshore Wind 2021 was also a huge success for us. Our giant sea mine drew in a lot of interesting and interested visitors, all of whom enjoyed stimulating conversations with our Marine Services Director Ryan Prophet, our Technical Field Manager Nigel Barton, and our Business Development Manager Carl Davenport.
Visitors to our stall also happened to enjoy a cheeky little beer, courtesy of SafeLane.
We enjoyed Global Offshore Wind so much that we will be returning to it in June 2022 at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.
Global Offshore Wind 2022
SafeLane Global will be located on stand 200 from the 21st - 22nd June 2022. This time, our presence will be even bigger and better! There will be no shortage of fun goodies and informative conversations.
Want to book a meeting with our Marine Director Ryan Prophet? We've got you covered! Send an e-mail to info@safelaneglobal.com with your name, company, and preferred time slot...we'll welcome you.
We look forward to seeing some new and familiar faces at the Manchester Central Convention Complex in June. If you have any questions for our Dream Marine Team prior to this, please call them via +44 (0) 1634 471 340.
SafeLane Global and Offshore Wind
SafeLane Global has been mitigating explosive threats onshore and offshore for over 30 years. It has supported numerous offshore wind energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time and without the threat of unexploded ordnance (UXO). Our explosive ordnance disposal and explosive threat mitigation services range from consultancy and risk assessment to survey, and full investigation and clearance.
Onshore and offshore wind projects require intrusive works which run the risk of accidental UXO detonation. Accidentally triggering UXO can harm employees and project timelines, causing disastrous consequences for renewable energy projects. It is the employers responsibility to reduce this risk to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).
Firstly, a detailed unexploded ordnance risk assessment of your site and any access routes should be commissioned, this will give you a risk rating of between low* and high, detail any contamination you might encounter – and critically, propose site appropriate risk mitigation measures.
SafeLane offers end-to-end services, ranging from desktop and environmental impact risk assessments to surveys, and from clearance to demolition. You can view a full list of SafeLane's marine services below.
