EOD / IEDD mentor (French / English speaking)

As an EOD or IEDD mentor (depending on your area of expertise), you would be responsible for providing EOD / IEDD and Combat Engineering training and technical guidance to foreign military personnel.As an EOD or IEDD mentor (depending on your area of expertise), you would be responsible for providing EOD / IEDD and Combat Engineering training and technical guidance to foreign military personnel.

As an EOD or IEDD mentor (depending on your area of expertise), you would be responsible for providing EOD / IEDD and Combat Engineering training and technical guidance to foreign military personnel. This forms part of a larger, and all-encompassing, capacity building project to enable foreign military to combat threats posed by explosive ordnance.

As a military-qualified EOD or IEDD Operator, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with others in order to aid their understanding and operational capabilities to enable them to undertake EOD and IEDD tasks in line with in-country standards and procedures.

Your own experiences, having worked as an Operator in hostile environments, will allow you to ensure training and mentoring is relevant to the ever-changing threats whilst adapting training aids to create simulation stations in which your students can learn in an active and engaging manner.

We recruit both English and French-speaking Mentors in order to meet the needs of those we teach and guide during their training with SafeLane Global. 

Required Qualifications & Experience

EOD Mentor:

• EOD Level 3 (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years’ experience, including 18 months of EOD training experience with foreign military personnel
• English OR French speaking proficiency

IEDD Mentor:

• Qualified IEDD Operator (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years’ operational experience, including 18 months of IEDD training experience with foreign military personnel
• English OR French speaking proficiency
