About the Queen's Award
The Queen’s Awards are globally recognised and are the most prestigious business award a company can win. To win an award is a direct validation of the professionalism every single member of a company’s staff displays in their roles on a daily basis.
Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire visits SafeLane
The Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Mr. Edward Harley OBE, was greeted by Office Manager Julia Lythaby. Thereafter, CFO Rob Hunter provided his party with an introduction to the group, before a presentation was given by International Operations Director Tekimiti Gilbert.
Mr. Edward Harley OBE then met members of staff on a tour of the office before he was formally invited to present the award.
Taking receipt of the Queen's Award, Rob Hunter thanked The Lord-Lieutenant and his party, before paying tribute to those ultimately responsible for the win, his colleagues: "This achievement is directly attributable to the professionalism displayed by every single member of the extended SafeLane family every day. We could not have achieved our outstanding growth or advanced our reputation without you - you should all be proud of this achievement, because SafeLane could not have won it without you.”
Supporting Rob's comments, in a video about the Queen's Award, CEO Adam Ainsworth commented: “…when we discovered we had won, we were hugely surprised because we know how tough the competition is. We have been impressed at how widely understood and acknowledged the Queen’s Award logo is around the world. The people that make our company so great are proud to shout about this achievement.”
